The City of Cadiz is receiving about $65,000 in municipal road aid discretionary funds for resurfacing of two streets.
A representative of the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet was joined by local officials at Cadiz City Hall Thursday to announce $65,469 in discretionary funds for street resurfacing in Cadiz. A news release says resurfacing repairs address existing surface cracks, potholes, raveling, and base failures.
The award funds repairs and paving along sections of Sarah Court and Phoenix Drive. Both streets suffer from potholes and pavement cracking issues that require significant repairs.
Cadiz Mayor Todd King is quoted as saying, “The road conditions in the city have deteriorated in the last few years. This money will be used to repair and replace pavement along streets in our community.”
