Arraignment was held in Christian Circuit Court Wednesday afternoon for the suspect in the August 11 shooting death of 25-year old Terrill Moore near the McHenry Street Apartments in Hopkinsville.
Circuit Judge Andrew Self accepted a not guilty plea on behalf of 18-year old Robert Earl Torian of Hopkinsville and Commonwealth’s Attorney Rick Boling agreed to turn over all of the evidence he’s gotten together so far to defense attorney Rick Sanborn.
The original arrest warrant for murder from Hopkinsville police says Torian and Moore had been in an argument while both were passengers in a vehicle. Torian was in the back seat when he allegedly exited, opened the front passenger door and shot Moore in the head.
A pre-trial conference was scheduled for December 18.
