Clarksville police are investigating a fatal shooting from late Tuesday night on College Street.
It happened just before midnight and police say officers were initially responding to a fight in progress in the 900 block of College when it turned into a shooting in progress. They arrived to find a 31-year old male with a gunshot wound and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police believe the victim and shooter knew each other and detectives are following up on what are described as “solid leads.”
