The marching bands at Christian County and Hopkinsville High School are both advancing to the state semi-finals after performing well at the Class 4A quarterfinals Saturday at the Stadium of Champions.
Christian County’s Colonel Band finished second place, three points behind Madisonville-North Hopkins High School’s band. South Warren finished third and Hopkinsville High School’s Band of Tigers came in fourth. All four schools will advance to the state semi-finals in Bowling Green on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Trigg County took fourth place in Class AA in Bowling Green, where Murray High won the west region championship.
