In-person absentee voting is now underway in all 120 Kentucky counties with two weeks go to until the November 5 general election.
Secretary of State Alison Grimes says, “Voters who are not able to vote at the polls on Election Day for various reasons can vote absentee before November 5, if eligible, either in-person or by mail.”
Those reasons include being out of the county between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Election Day, being disabled or ill, military and their dependents, college students who temporarily reside outside of the county and pregnant women in their third trimester.
You can vote in-person absentee during regular business hours at your local county clerk’s office or through the mail by calling the clerk’s office and requesting an application.
