A single-vehicle accident over the weekend in Logan County sent the driver to a Nashville hospital with multiple injuries.
The Logan County Sheriff’s Department investigated and determined 37-year old Barry Harrison of Franklin had been eastbound on Franklin Road about 11 p.m. Saturday when likely fell asleep at the wheel.
His vehicle went off the left side of the roadway, struck a fence and then overturned multiple times.
Harrison was taken to Logan Memorial Hospital, was then transferred to Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green before being moved to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.
Police say he is in stable condition with multiple fractures to his neck and face, in addition to scrapes and lacerations to his head and body.
