The United Way of the Pennyrile fundraising campaign is going full speed ahead and Small Business Week is set to begin next week.
Small Business Week will run from October 21 through October 25 and will focus on businesses in the four counties served by the United Way—Christian, Todd, Trigg and Caldwell—with 50 employees or less. The United way is currently looking for volunteers to help make calls and pick up donations from businesses.
To volunteer, or to donate during Small Business Week, or for more information about the United Way call 270-886-8171. This year’s campaign has a Las Vegas theme, emphasizing that what’s raised in the community stays in the community, and the fundraising goal overall is $906,000.
