The suspect charged in the August 11 shooting death of 25-year old Terrill Moore near the McHenry Street Apartments in Hopkinsville was indicted Friday morning by the Christian County Grand Jury.
An indictment for murder was returned against 18-year old Robert Earl Torian of Hopkinsville.
The original arrest warrant from Hopkinsville police says Torian and Moore had been in an argument while both were passengers in a vehicle. Torian was in the back seat when he allegedly exited, opened the front passenger door and shot Moore in the face.
An eyewitness reportedly identified Torian as the shooter.
Meanwhile, an indictment for sexual misconduct, strangulation and unlawful imprisonment was returned against 19-year old Trevarius Daniels of Hopkinsville.
Officers were called to check the welfare of a juvenile female at a home in the 100 block of Donna Drive just before midnight on August 3 and she walked out of the front of the home as police arrived.
An arrest citation says the juvenile had blood on her shirt and marks around her neck.
After initially telling a different story about the circumstances of her being there, she eventually told police that Daniels had choked her with his hands and had not allowed her to leave when friends arrived to pick her up earlier in the evening.
She said she and Daniels had engaged in sex and that Daniels became angry when she wanted to leave.
The grand jury also indicted 73-year old Roy Pluskis for failure to comply with the sex offender registry and criminal trespassing. Pluskis allegedly failed to notify the state when he changed addresses and a woman said in August that she observed him peeking through a window of a home where a three-year old was sleeping.
