Tourism Director says there’s plenty of fall events in the community

Hopkinsville and Christian County is finally getting into the fall season, and Convention and Visitor’s Bureau Executive Director Brooke Jung says there’s a long list of things to do in the community in relation to the season.

Appearing on WHOP’s Early Bird Show, Jung says she’s eagerly diving into the fall season.  She says there’s several options in the area for people to go pumpkin picking, corn mazes and more.

She says if you’re more into the scary type of fun during this time of the year, there’s a slew of haunted houses and attractions to pick from across the county.

Jung says sports tourism has also really taken off lately in the community, and there will even more events at the Jennie Stuart-Planter’s Bank Sportsplex Hopkinsville coming up.

The Convention and Visitor’s Bureau makes frequent updates to their Facebook page about what’s happening in the community, including sports competitions, fairs and festivals, and programs related to the Big Read.  Jung says people can also download the free Visit Hopkinsville app to stay up-to-date.
