The Lexington Herald Leader reports Lexington Center officials held a news conference today to give an update on the refurbishment of Rupp Arena. The upper deck bleachers have been replaced on the sides of the court with chair back seats at a cost of $1.2 million and will be ready to go for UK basketball’s Big Blue Madness event coming up on Friday night.
