An inmate fled from a work release Monday night in Muhlenberg County.
Kentucky State Police say 44-year old Thomas Vaught of Central City left the Muhlenberg County Agriculture Center sometime between 9:10 and 9:35 p.m. after stealing a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck. It has a toolbox and a diesel tank in the back of the truck and has a University of Kentucky plate on the front and a Kentucky official tag on the rear.
Vaught is a white male standing about 6-1 and weighing approximately 190 lbs. He was last seen wearing an orange t-shirt with Muhlenberg County Detention Center written on the back and he was also wearing orange pants.
