A two-vehicle wreck at Pembroke Road and the Bypass Sunday afternoon sent both drivers to the hospital.
It happened about 2:15 p.m. and the report from Hopkinsville police Officer Andrew Hoffman says 18-year old Jadyn Hicks of Hopkinsville was eastbound on the Bypass and told police he was listening to music and didn’t notice his light was red until was too late.
He collided with a northbound car on Pembroke Road driven by 23-year old D’Travion Edwards of Hopkinsville, who had just left work and had a green light.
Edwards had injuries to both arms, Hicks complained of chest and knee pain and both were taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
