A pursuit of an ATV last week near Crofton ended with a wreck and criminal charges.
Deputy Clevin Robinson attempted to stop a 4-wheeler traveling East Main Street in Crofton and the driver, 56-year old Scott Plock of Crofton, allegedly continued driving onto East Mill, South Anderson and College Street.
He failed to negotiate a curve while traveling at a high rate of speed and overturned in a ditch.
A citation says Plock smelled of alcohol and admitted to drinking prior to driving the ATV.
He was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center, where he was admitted for treatment of injuries.
Plock was cited into court due to the extent of his injuries and he’s charged with DUI, speeding, fleeing or evading police and ATV violations.
