Hopkinsville is ranked ninth in the Class 4-A Cantrall poll from the Lexington Herald Leader out today. Boyle County is first in the 4-A poll. Christian County is ranked 13th in the Class 5-A poll in which Covington Catholic is number one.
Statewide, Male is number one with Bowling Green ranked 8th, South Warren is 11th and Mayfield is 17th this week.
In the Bluegrass Preps.com polls, Hopkinsville is ranked fifth in the Class 4-A poll with Boyle County number one, Logan County 8th and Madisonville is 9th.
Bowling Green is fourth and South Warren is fifth in Class 5-A with Frederick Douglass first this week.
McCracken County is 10th in Class 6-A with Male number one, Paducah Tilghman is 10th in Class 3-A where DeSales is first, Mayfield is second, Murray is fifth and Caldwell County is 8th in Class 2-A with Somerset number one and Pikeville is number one in Class A.
The KHSAA RPI rankings also came out today, with three western Kentucky schools ranked in the top 20. Mayfield is fifth, with Paducah Tilghman 15th and Caldwell County 20th. Kentucky Country Day is first this week.
