A Crofton woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident Sunday afternoon in Madisonville.
It happened a few minutes after 3 p.m. and Madisonville police say 81-year old Sandy Vaughn of Crofton was eastbound on West Lake Street when she said she turned to check on a passenger.
That’s when her vehicle veered off the roadway and struck a utility pole.
A passenger, 31-year old Kristina Ward of Crofton, was taken by ambulance to Baptist Health Hospital.
