A Nortonville man is facing numerous charges after he was allegedly found to have 17 marijuana plants growing at a residence on Mannington Loop.
According to the police report, Christian County Sheriff deputies responded to a Mannington Loop location around 10:30 p.m. Sunday night on an anonymous tip that a person was growing marijuana there. Upon arrival, contact was made with 42-year old David Knight of Nortonville, who reportedly gave consent to a search of the residence, where he lived with his wife and 14-year old child.
The search reportedly revealed 17 marijuana plants growing in a bedroom. Knight allegedly stated that he was growing the plants in order to make money while he was unemployed. Further sure reportedly turned up four jars of loose marijuana and multiple items of drug paraphernalia.
Knight was arrested and charged with cultivating marijuana, trafficking in marijuana, second-degree unlawful transaction with a minor and possession of drug paraphernalia.
