Smoke filled the air around Grupo Antolin on Commerce Court in Hopkinsville Tuesday evening during after a fire ignited inside the building.
It happened about 5:30 p.m. and Hopkinsville Fire Department Battalion Chief Chip Renshaw says the blaze began with a bale of material and firefighters went inside to extinguish any fire that the sprinkler system didn’t put out.
He said the fire was contained to one section of the building.
Employees were evacuated and waited outside across the road while firefighters worked.
There were no reports of injuries and Renshaw said the cause of the blaze was not immediately known.
