An Auburn couple is facing multiple charges, from burglary to felony theft, following a pursuit in Logan County Friday.
According to a report from the Logan County Sherriff’s Department, deputies responded to a residence on Cemetery Road in search of 37-year old Troy Carter, who was wanted on multiple outstanding felon warrants. Charges included felony theft, drug charges, persistent felony offender and more. He was also sought in connection with a burglary that occurred at an Auburn business that happened in August.
He was located on Cemetery Road, along with his wife 36-year old Stephanie Carter of Aurburn—who was also wanted on multiple warrants—and both fled from deputies on foot. They were taken into custody after a brief pursuit and served with the warrants, along with new charges of fleeing and evading police, and charged for their alleged roles in the August burglary.
