The Taste of the Pennyrile, which was held Thursday evening at the James Bruce Convention Center, raised around $9,000 in support of Pennyroyal Hospice.
That number could continue to climb as final checks and other prices come in, according to Hospice officials. They also say Hospice continues to take donations, which would go towards the total and help them provide programs and other services to their many patients in the region.
The Taste of the Pennyrile, which included 32 local restaurants and eateries this year, is one of Pennyroyal Hospice’s biggest fundraisers. To make a donation, or for more information, contact Hospice at 270-885-6428.
