Three arrested on drug trafficking, theft-related charges

Hopkinsville police arrested three suspects Friday morning charges related to drugs and stolen property.

A traffic stop was made on 40-year old Kevin Warner of Hopkinsville and an arrest citation says he gave consent to search his vehicle. Police say they found two sets of bolt cutters, a flashlight and a saw that matched the description of one that was recently reported stolen.

A search warrant was obtained for Warner’s South Main Street residence and police say they found additional tools, morphine pills and a large quantity of methamphetamine.

Warner was arrested and charged with felony receiving stolen property, felony theft, trafficking in methamphetamine and possession of a controlled substance.

Two passengers—30-year old Brittany Warner of Madisonville and 18-year old Jordan Warner of Hopkinsville—were also arrested.

Both were charged with trafficking in meth and possession of drug paraphernalia. Jordan Warner was additionally charged with tampering with evidence and possession of a controlled substance and Brittany Warner with possession of marijuana.
