The Pennyrile Senior Games made their debut at the Sportsplex this week and the new venue has been popular with the over 200 participants from the nine-county region.
Pam Rudd with Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation says they’ve heard very positive reviews and it’s been a fun week.
She says they were pleased to have eight competitors who are 90 years old or older.
Rudd says they were able to maintain all of the same events participants have come to enjoy in the past at the Sportsplex.
