Additional details have been released on the school bus accident Wednesday morning near the dead end of Cansler Subdivision Road.
The report from Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Mark Nichols says the bus driver, 46-year old Nikki Killebrew of Hopkinsville, was northbound and told police it was dark just after 6 a.m. and she did not see a curve in the road.
The bus went off the left side of the road, down a hill, over a concrete slab and into a metal building.
Killebrew was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center and two juvenile passengers were taken to the hospital by their parents. All injuries were described as non-life-threatening.
Neither drugs nor alcohol are listed as factors in the collision on the report.
