The Christian County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a two-vehicle head-on collision on the Pennyrile Parkway that sent a man to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
According to Public Information Officer Chris Miller, the collision occurred around 3:15 p.m. near the seven mile marker of the Pennyrile Parkway when a vehicle operating the wrong direction in the southbound lanes hit a pickup truck head-on.
The driver of the pickup was transported to Jennie Stuart for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The female driver of the vehicle going the wrong way was not injured. At this time, she is not facing any charges related to the crash.
