Three local students have been named National Merit Scholar semifinalists for 2020.
University Heights Academy officials say Roma Desai and Kevli Sheth are seniors at UHA and will have the opportunity to continue in the competition of honored students across the nation.
Hopkinsville High School student Jerry “J.B.” Morse, who is currently attending the Gatton Academy at Western Kentucky University, was also named a semifinalist.
The National Merit Scholarship Program is a United States academic scholarship competition for recognition and university scholarships administered by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.
