Man charged after hitting four-wheeler

A Madisonville man is facing a wanton endangerment charge after he is alleged to have intentionally rammed a four-wheeler on Grapevine Road Monday afternoon.

According to a report from the Christian County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded to Grapevine Road for reports of a two-vehicle wreck with injuries involving a four-wheeler.  The driver of the second vehicle involved, 30-year old Dillon Miller of Madisonville, told officers he had been unable to see the four wheeler due to the dust it was creating, and that’s why he struck the four-wheeler.

Further investigation reportedly determined that Miller had flagged down the victims on the four-wheeler and when they stopped, told them this was private property and they couldn’t be there.  The operator of the four-wheeler argued that it was a country road and public property, and an argument began.  When the victim attempted to leave, Miller allegedly got in his vehicle and rammed the four-wheeler, using the passenger side of the vehicle.

The report states there were apparent marks on the passenger door indicating there had been a collision.  The victim went to Jennie Stuart Medical Center to be checked out, while Miller was arrested and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment.
