A Hopkinsville man is facing charges after he allegedly threatened to blow up the police department and shoot the Police Chief.
That’s according to an arrest report from the Hopkinsville Police Department, who had responded to a disturbance involving 60-year old Michael Climo of Hopkinsville and a female on Friday. When Climo did not get the results he wanted, he allegedly called the police department and threatened to “blow up the police department” and that he would “shoot the chief of police”, Clayton Sumner.
When officers located Climo later, he reportedly told them if Judge Foster Cotthoff made him angry, he would “take him off the bench”.
Climo was arrested and charged with two counts of retaliating against a participant in the legal process.
