An investigation by Kentucky State Police in Lyon County led to the arrest of a woman on fraud-related charge.
KSP alleges that 72-year old Elizabeth Jane Rogers of Kuttawa used the personal information of her daughter and several other family members to secure loans without their consent. She’s also accused of forging documents as she was operating the Smoke Shack in Eddyville.
Rogers is charged with six counts of theft of identity and four counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument. She’s lodged in the Caldwell County Jail and additional charges are likely pending.
