Pedestrian struck by train in Henderson County

A man was killed after he was struck by a train Monday night in Henderson County.

Kentucky State Police investigated and say 45-year old Teddy Williams of Spottsville was on the CSX tracks near KY 1078 North at about 8 p.m. when he was struck by a train.

Williams was pronounced dead at the scene by the Henderson County Coroner’s Office.

No one else was injured and police say foul play is not suspected.
