Long time area coach Carwile passes away Sunday

Tributes have been pouring in on social media for long time coach Kelly Carwile, who passed away Sunday after suffering an aortic rupture one week ago. Carwile had been an assistant the last two seasons for Hopkinsville and was set to assist at Webster County this season. Carwile began his coaching career as head coach of the Trojans in 1998. He then took over the Lyon County Lyons in 2002 and would later work as an assistant at Graves County and was also head coach at Pike County Central and Grayson County.
