Local man arrested on Tennessee indictment warrant

A local man indicted in Tennessee for allegedly failing to refund money paid for home improvement services was arrested Sunday.

A Montgomery County Grand jury recently returned a sealed indictment against 30-year old Jason Logan of Crofton, alleging he failed to refund over $10,000 as a home improvement provider.

A law passed by the Tennessee legislature in 2017 made it a crime for a home improvement or new construction contractor to not issue a refund within 10 days for work not completed when requested to do so in person or through certified mail.

Logan was booked on a $10,000 bond.
