Two people were flown to an Evansville hospital following a single-vehicle accident Saturday in Graves County.
Kentucky State Police investigated and say 68-year old Jacqueline Haley of Hickory had been westbound on KY 301 a few minutes after 2 p.m. when she went off the right side of the roadway for unknown reasons.
Her car struck a mailbox and Haley over-corrected, causing her to cross the roadway and exit the other side. She then went into a ditch and struck a tree.
Haley and her passenger, 69-year old Kenneth Haley of Hickory, had to be extricated from the car and were flown to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville for multiple injuries.
Police say both occupants were wearing their seat belts.
