A Trigg County woman was killed in an accident on US 68 Sunday morning.
It happened a few minutes after 8 a.m. between Cadiz and Canton near Hilltop Market.
Trigg County Sheriff’s Sgt. David Tomlinson says 35-year old Angela North of Cadiz was westbound when her car exited the right side of the roadway for unknown reasons. It came back onto the roadway sideways and was struck on the passenger-side door by an eastbound box truck driven by James Dimitrious of Trigg County.
North was pronounced dead at the scene, while the occupants of the truck were not injured.
