No one was injured Saturday morning when a motor home struck a Kentucky State Police cruiser in Graves County.
Troopers were investigating a separate accident with minor injuries at KY 408 and US 45N at about 10:15 a.m. and had blocked off one lane of US 45 to shield emergency personnel and the injured person.
A southbound motor home driven by Stephen Steinert of Wisconsin struck one of the KSP vehicles, causing severe damage. The trooper was not in the KSP Ford Explorer and Steinert was not hurt.
State police say it’s a good reminder to pay attention while driving this Labor Day weekend and to move over when you see emergency vehicles ahead.
KSP and multiple agencies in the area have extra patrols out this weekend enforcing traffic laws and placing an extra emphasis on stopping and arresting anyone driving impaired.
