Murray State released its two deep depth chart for Thursday’s season opening game against Pikeville. Former Hopkinsville High standout Don Parker is listed as the starter at strong safety. Meanwhile, Coach Mitch Stewart announced wide receiver Malik Buchanan will miss the season due to a knee injury. Buchanan ran back a kickoff for a game winning touchdown against Southeast Missouri last season. Thursday night’s game at Stewart Stadium kicks off at 6 pm.
