The 4th Annual Summer Salute festival concluded Saturday night with the Joe Diffie concert in front of the Christian County Justice Center, but a number of factors helped make the entire two-day event a success.
Toby Hudson with Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation noted the weather was ideal for the festival Saturday.
He says they believe the festival has improved a little each year.
A very large crowd heard Walker Montgomery open up Saturday night for the featured act—country music star Joe Diffie. Diffie noted that his guitar player, William Bagby, is from Guthrie.
