Three people were arrested on drug charges Friday morning following an investigation by the Todd County Sheriff’s Department.
Sgt. Patrick Turner went to a West Jefferson Davis Highway residence to locate 33-year old Roy Arms of Elkton, who was wanted on a warrant, after receiving a tip regarding his whereabouts.
An arrest citation says he was in a bedroom where several used glass pipes containing meth residue were in plain view on a table. Marijuana was also located and a bottle of pills was found in Arms’ pocket. The label indicated it was filled August 19 with 120 Hydrocodone pills, but only 11 were left Friday, according to the report.
Police also located 33-year old Crystal Carter of Russellville in the bedroom.
The owner of the home, 63-year old Barry Powell of Elkton, gave consent to search of the home and police say they found another meth pipe, drug paraphernalia, a baggie containing meth, marijuana and prescription pills.
All three suspects were charged with possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.
Arms was additionally charged with trafficking in a controlled substance; and Arms and Powell were charged with possession of marijuana. Powell was also charged with prescription pills not in the proper container.
