Princeton police are asking for the public’s help to identify the suspect involved in an armed robbery early Friday morning at the Circle K gas station on South Jefferson Street.
It happened just before 2 a.m. and the clerk told police that a black male entered the store, brandished a handgun, went behind the counter and ordered him to open the register.
The suspect then took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and fled the store on foot toward Legion Street.
He is described as a light-skinned black male standing about 5-8 and weighing approximately 140 pounds. He was wearing a dark hoody, black hat, blue shirt, dark pants, black shoes with white soles, pink gloves, a blue bandana, and white frame sunglasses.
