Western Kentucky coach Tyson Helton offered comment Tuesday on the dismissals of redshirt running back Quinton Baker and redshirt offensive lineman Preston Mixon. The Bowling Green Daily News reports Helton as saying the dismissals were tough but they had to be done as the two made bad choices. Bowling Green police are continuing their investigations into two incidents where shots were fired early Saturday morning. No arrests have been made and a WKU team spokesman says the matter is being handled internally.
