The Kentucky Citizen Foster Care Review Board will host a public forum Thursday night in Hopkinsville and it’s a chance for citizens to voice questions or concerns about the foster care system.
An advanced agenda says the forum will go from 5:30 until 7 p.m. at the Bruce Convention Center and the focus is on improving outcomes for Kentucky children in the foster care system.
Topics discussed will include issues with getting children in permanent homes in a timely manner and ensuring safety and well-being of children while in out-of-home care.
Specific case information will not be discussed due to confidentiality concerns.
