Shots fired incident in Oak Grove leads to pursuit of white Dodge Charger

A shots fired investigation early Sunday morning in Oak Grove turned into a high speed pursuit that went into Clarksville.

Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Andy Sanderson says he heard approximately nine gunshots in the area of Stateline Road and KY 115 at about 12:50 a.m. and soon saw a white Dodge Charger go by him at a high rate of speed.

He began pursuing the car, which turned onto I-24 and reached speeds of 130 mph before taking Exit 1 onto Trenton Road.

Deputy Sanderson terminated the pursuit after the Charger began weaving in and out of traffic and police in Clarksville began searching the area for the car that was occupied by three people.

Police determined multiple rounds had struck two unoccupied Metro Villa apartments in Oak Grove and no one was injured. The shots fired incident is being investigated by the Oak Grove Police Department.

It’s unknown if the pursued Dodge Charger is the same car sought in connection with a shooting incident that injured two people Saturday in Clarksville.
