A man was hospitalized Saturday night after he was struck by a vehicle in the Piggly Wiggly parking lot in Hopkinsville.
It happened about 7:15 p.m., according to Hopkinsville Police Sgt. Tony Sierra, who says 70-year old Martha Woodall of Hopkinsville accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake and struck 57-year old Clarence Bowman of Hopkinsville, pushing him into the front window of the store.
The window broke and Bowman was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. Woodall was not hurt in the crash.
