University Heights boys and girls teams won the 2nd region All A Classics played at Deer Creek Golf Club in Salem Saturday. The Blazers finished with a 358 team score and was led by Weston Wood with a three over par 75, which gave Wood medalist honors. Jiles Wyatt had an 85 which placed fifth individually with Jude Doer firing a 95 and Luke Shouse had a 105 score.
The Lady Blazers had a 450 total and was led by Rhegan Lindsey’s 86, which was also good for third place individually. It’s the first time both UHA teams have qualified for the All A State Tournament.
Both teams will play in the All A State Tournament in Richmond early next month.
