Kentucky picked up a third walk-on for the upcoming season Thursday. Riley Welch is a six foot guard from Littleton, CO who played last season for UC Irvine and College of the Desert. Welch scored 14 points in 27 games as a true freshman for UC Irvine. Welch’s father Jon is an assistant coach with the Los Angeles Clippers of the NBA.
