Former assistant coach indicted for internet sex crimes

Wimbleduff

A former Christian County Middle School assistant football coach was indicted Friday for alleged internet sex crimes against a child.

The grand jury indicted 37-year old Bryan Wilmbleduff of Cerulean for promoting a sexual performance by a minor, use of an electronic device to procure a minor and distributing obscene material to minors.

An arrest warrant says that on July 15 of this year, he sent a photo of his private parts to a 15-year old male and requested photos of the minor’s private parts.

Wimbleduff allegedly offered money to the teen if he’d send images of himself in a sexual performance.

Bishop

Meanwhile, an indictment for first-degree rape and first-degree sodomy against 55-year old Robert Bishop alleges the crimes happened against a victim between December 25 of 2008 and August of 2018.

Bishop is already facing rape, sodomy and evidence tampering charges for alleged incidents against a juvenile victim between 2002 and 2006. Court records show Bishop was convicted on two counts of first-degree sexual abuse in 1997 and he was sentenced to three years in prison in that case.

Twenty-nine-year-old Cody Braden of Clarksville was indicted for third-degree rape, alleging he engaged in sexual intercourse with a 16-year old female on March 16 of this year.

And an indictment for first-degree sexual abuse was returned against 45-year old David Davenport of Pembroke, alleging he made sexual contact with a juvenile under the age of 12 between 2012 and 2014.
