The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Department is investigating alleged child abuse at the Quail Run Apartments in Earlington.
Deputies went to that location Thursday and found two small children who had been assaulted, according to a news release, which says the victims were transported to an area hospital for treatment of injuries.
No other information has been released on the incident, with police saying more information will come out as the investigation progresses.
