Motorcyclist flown to Skyline following West Seventh crash

A motorcyclist was flown to a Nashville hospital after he was rear-ended Sunday night on West Seventh Street.

Hopkinsville Police Sgt. Tony Sierra says 22-year old Nicholas Fisher of Hopkinsville was waiting for traffic to pass so he could turn from the eastbound lane into the Dodge Store at about 9:15 p.m. when he was struck from the rear by a vehicle driven by Victoria Dixon of Cadiz.

Fisher was initially unresponsive when first responders arrived and he was flown from the Jennie Stuart Medical Center helipad to Skyline Medical Center. Sgt. Sierra says police learned later in the night that Fisher became alert and responsive and that he had a broken leg in addition to other injuries.

Dixon was not injured in the crash.
