Elsewhere in the National League: Jack Flaherty carried a no-hitter into the sixth inning as the St. Louis Cardinals shut out the Chicago Cubs 8-0. The Cardinals now lead the Cubs by a game in the NL Central.
St. Louis has a travel day today before opening a series at Oakland tomorrow while the Cubs welcome the Milwaukee Brewers to Wrigley Field this afternoon.
