An investigation into an alleged identity theft Wednesday afternoon led to the arrest of a Hopkinsville man on drug charges.
Officers went to a Roney Drive residence to talk to 25-year old Phillip Walker of Hopkinsville and found drugs and drug paraphernalia in plain view, according to the police report, which says a search warrant was obtained.
Several grams of marijuana and an unknown powder were located in the search, in addition to items used to consume drugs.
Walker was arrested for theft of identity, felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
A second person at the home, 23-year old Emily Bakovic of Hopkinsville, was arrested for hindering the apprehension of a fugitive. She had allegedly tried to prevent officers from getting to Walker by closing a door.
