Report: Shooting on Boyd Street happened during robbery

The shooting incident from early Wednesday morning on Boyd Street happened during commission of a robbery.

That’s according to the Hopkinsville Police Department incident report, which says unknown suspects wearing ski masks approached 35-year old Robert Armour of Clarksville near 128 Boyd a few minutes after 3 a.m. and attempted to take his property.

One of the suspects then fired a shot that struck Armour’s ear, causing relatively minor injuries.

Armour was treated for his injuries and then arrested on a warrant for being a fugitive from another state.
