Search warrant leads to drug trafficking arrest

A search warrant was served at an Evergreen Park Drive residence Monday evening, leading to the arrest of a man on drug trafficking charges.

Hopkinsville police officers searched 653 Evergreen Park and the report says they found about 2,200 grams of marijuana, cocaine stored with a digital scale, a bottle of codeine, 99 THC cartridges, a second digital scale, a handgun and about $5,852 cash.

Police arrested 20-year old Adrian Acree of Hopkinsville and charged him with felony trafficking in marijuana, trafficking in synthetic drugs, trafficking in cocaine, possession of codeine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
